Intelligent Species
Earthlings – Calling themselves “humans”, Earthlings make up a small minority in the galactic society, but with their unusually strong drive to mate, it is feared they will eventually overwhelm the rest of the galactic races.
Corellian Lizard men – a race of tall, powerful creatures who have thick scaled skin which is can be anywhere from dark brown to bright green in color, though the ruling class sport skin colors of gold or silver. They originated on a hot, humid planet that has 75% of its land surface covered in dense jungle.
Uxecisoi – a rat-faced, rodent like race with dark grey, brown and/or white fur. They are generally regarded as good traders or devious thieves, depending on who you ask.
Asmonians – Beings reminiscent of Old Earth's Great Apes, large and muscular, with dark brown or black fur, they walk upright like most humanoids. Slate's associate, Everet, is a fine example of the species.
Qzao - Ferret-like creatures with mostly brown and black fur, they are like the Uxecisio in their fame as traders but have a reputation of almost obsessive honesty.
Syladians – Tall and skinny with dark leather-like skin, the Syladians are a race of nocturnal methane breathers who wear masks when on oxygen planets.
Casmere – From the planet with the same name, they are mouselike in appearance with brown and white fur. They range from three to four feet tall and make fantastic ship engineers.
Gronians – medium sized beings equipped with long porcupine- like spines, they make excellent shop keepers, cooks and bakers.
Lupian – Fox-like beings with red and white fur and long bushy tales, they excel at diplomacy, making them the wiliest politicians in the galaxy.
Jutonian – These humanoids most closely resemble the pigs of Old Earth, they are the gourmands of the galaxy, with a love of food unparallelled anywhere.
Hamborgs – A secretive unisex race that very little is known about. Many think them to actually be a race of androids.
Others
Tyzerian Wildcat – One of the most vicious felines in the galaxy, both males and females spend most of their lives alone, only coming together to mate and raise cubs.
Kirellian Ghost Hound – a large, mean canine that lives mostly in the forest areas of the planet Kirellia. They have a remote resemblance to Old Earth wolves and dogs but stand ten feet tall at the shoulder, weigh up to 400 pounds and have long white fur which glows in the dark.
